Things to do in Warwick
Warwick is the second largest city in Rhode Island behind Providence and is home to T.F. Green Airport PVD . Our Warwick hotel offers convenient access to the area's local attractions including prestigious Rhode Island colleges and universities and perfectly manicured Warwick golf courses.
Warwick is home to notable historical events including being the location where the first violent act against the British occurred in the American Revolutionary War. In what is now referred to as the Gaspee Affair, local patriots boarded the British HMS Gaspée, a ship enforcing the Stamp Act in the Narragansett Bay, and fired the ship's commanding officer.
Warwick visitors and citizens all agree that the 39 miles of coastline offers some of the most picturesque and spectacular views of Narragansett Bay. Pack a picnic and head to the beach to enjoy the refreshing coastal breeze, naturally soft sand and other fun-filled beach activities.
